How to choose the Tibetan rug that is perfect for your room?
Authentic Tibetan rugs are one of the finest and most beautiful rugs available today. All are hand knotted using special Tibetan weaving techniques and are made of 100% wool. Tibetan rugs are also a group of classic Oriental rugs.
Tibetan wool is very unique - strong, resilient with long fibers and rich in lanolin due to the cold climate. The wool is processed using traditional methods such as hand spun, dying in natural products (rhubarb, walnut, indigo, and ochre) and dried on rooftops.
The bold designs of Tibetan area rugs feature lovely floral, animal and geometric patterns, which are traditional for Tibetan rug making. As you can see above – squares and tiles combined with straight lines – all in vibrant colors that can make any room in your house shine with beauty.

Tibetan rugs are not very commonly used for commercial purposes or as floor coverings, but as sleeping carpets, guest seats, meditation seats, and throne backs. The last one is not very common these days :), however you are free to use Tibetan rugs in any room of your house in any way you want.
